We are pleased to share the news of our first Bawat BaaS assignment in Sweden.
During the ongoing Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC), the Swedish Transport Agency detained a vessel carrying 9,000 m³ of non-compliant ballast water after its onboard treatment system failed.
Bawat was contacted on a Friday afternoon — and by Saturday morning, our mobile, land-based reception facility was on site.
The ballast water was treated, and the vessel returned to full compliance with minimal delay.
We are pleased to see Swedish authorities enforcing ballast water regulations — and proud to provide a fast, flexible, and fully certified solution that keeps vessels moving and the oceans protected.
