Be ready for the 2025 CIC - and avoid costly delays when Port State Control inspects.
From 1 September to 30 November 2025, Port State Control (PSC) authorities in Europe and Asia will run a Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC) focusing on ballast water management (BWM).
If your Ballast Water Management System (BWMS) is not fully operational - or your documentation is incomplete - you risk detention or recorded deficiencies.
Bawat BaaS offers IMO- and USCG-approved mobile ballast water treatment at select ports - ensuring your ballast water is compliant before discharge.
Pre-book before arrival and avoid the risk of detention, schedule disruption, and costly fines.
Key benefits:
Failing critical items (questions 1-6, 9, 10) can result in detention - your vessel will be held until the issue is rectified.
Failing less critical items (questions 7-8) results in non-detainable deficiencies - you can sail, but corrections will be required.
